I was all prepared to return back home after being away on holiday to Greece, to compose this latest news post to inform everyone of my Christmas availability and extra days that I would be working during December and to release my 2022 rota, however upon returning home and opening my mail, things have now changed.
I have received a letter with dates for a foot operation that I have been waiting to have performed.
Due to this operation being through the NHS I have no choice in when the operation takes place, and I was originally informed it would be at the start of 2022 however I have been given a much earlier date.
My operation now will be performed on November 25th 2021 and I will be needing a 6/8 weeks recovery period off work with the first 2 weeks being totally off my feet.
Due to the nature of my job and being on my feet all day, until later on in the recovery process I will not know when I will be able to return to work or what treatments I will be able to perform and for how many hours per day I will be able to be in the salon for.
This unfortunately means that any treatments booked from November 25th onwards need to be cancelled until further notice and I am having to close my diary to any new bookings wanting to be made.
I fully appreciate that this is not ideal at all, however as it’s due to an operation that I very much need it’s something that is out of my control.
I will update on here when I know more about my return to work date.
