I have now received a letter with a date for my foot operation that I have been waiting to have performed.
Due to this operation being through the NHS I have no choice in when the operation takes place.
I was originally informed it would be at the end of February, to then be told I wasn’t on the February or March list, and to anticipate being on the April list.
My operation will now be performed on Thursday 6th April and like last time I will be needing a 6/8 week recovery period off work with the first 2 weeks being totally off my feet.
I will be personally contacting everyone that is booked in with me who now unfortunately needs to be cancelled.
This now means that any treatments booked in with me from 6th April onwards will need to be cancelled until further notice and I am having to close my diary to any new bookings wanting to be made from this date onwards.
I fully appreciate that, yet again, this is not ideal at all, however as it’s due to an operation that I very much need it’s something that is out of my control.
Due to the nature of my job and being on my feet all day, and from my previous experience, I am planning on following the same pattern for my recovery.
This means all going well with the operation and my recovery I am planning to be returning to the salon for the start of June. I shall be working my first month back on half days, with a mixture of morning afternoon and evening appointments available.
For anyone with bookings from June onwards rest assured that your appointments are scheduled as planned and for anyonewishing to make future appointments then nearer the time to my return I shall update everyone via Facebook and via email to when my diary is back open and I’m ready to start taking bookings ready for my return.
